The Kind of Coaching That Actually Changes Things
Most of us reach a point where the tools that got us here stop working. We are capable and credentialed and still stuck. Or we know what to do but cannot seem to actually do it. Or we have achieved what we set out to achieve and discovered it is not enough.
This is not a failure of effort. It is an invitation.
My work is grounded in evidence-based coaching and positive psychology, in Iain McGilchrist’s research on attention, in the neuroscience of awe, and in coaching supervision at its highest level.
But none of that reaches you as theory.
My gift, and the thing clients tell me they cannot find anywhere else, is translation: I take the research that matters and make it usable on Monday morning. No jargon. No script. I coach from presence.
Every session is a chance to move something that has not moved. To see something that has been invisible. To choose differently.
I believe that when one person grows in awareness, courage, and clarity, the world shifts a little. That is what I am here for.
Presence is the part that cannot be automated
Most coaching now happens at scale, often with the help of AI. That makes one question more important than ever: when so much development is automated, who is sensing what is actually happening in the human being on the other side?
I believe a presence-trained human coach is the part of that system that cannot be replaced. It is the through-line of my work, the frameworks I have built, and the way I help organizations think about coaching quality.
If that is the conversation you are trying to have, you are in the right place.
About Katie
I spent years practicing law before I understood that the most meaningful work I could do was not in a courtroom. It was in the conversation.
Today I hold the Master Certified Coach (MCC) credential from the International Coaching Federation, the highest credential in the field, held by fewer than 5% of coaches worldwide. I am also accredited as an ESIA Senior Practitioner by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, and hold both a Certified Mentor Coach designation and a Supervision Diploma from Beckett McInroy, where I also serve as faculty. I am a Past President of ICF Wisconsin.
That background shapes how I coach. I bring the precision of a trained legal mind, the depth of someone who has spent decades studying human development, and the warmth of someone who genuinely believes in the people sitting across from her.
My clients include executives navigating the complexity of leadership, professionals at pivotal life and career crossroads, and coaches at every credential level who are serious about the quality of their work.
I do not offer formulas. I offer a relationship in which you are seen clearly and challenged thoughtfully, and where real change becomes possible.

How We Can Work Together
I work with two distinct groups of people: leaders and professionals who want to grow, and coaches who want to deepen the quality of their practice.
I also help organizations build coaching cultures that hold up at scale. Each service below has its own focus, its own rhythm, and its own kind of value.
My fees are aligned with other professional coaches. I keep a couple scholarship spots available. I invite you to connect with me to explore how you can live the life of your dreams.
Executive Coaching
For leaders and professionals ready to lead with greater clarity, intention, and impact.
Leadership Supervision
A structured space for leaders to examine their practice, examine their assumptions, and lead with more awareness.
Mentor Coaching
For coaches pursuing or renewing an ACC, PCC, or MCC credential with the ICF.
Coaching Supervision
A reflective, ongoing practice for coaches who take the quality of their work seriously.
For organizations building or scaling a coaching culture, with or without AI.
For professionals sustaining themselves through high-stakes roles, not just performing in them.
